If you are a chef, you'll want to meet with The Southwest Grassfed Livestock Alliance (SWGLA). They will have information on how to use the "whole animal;" different cuts, recipe suggestions and cooking tips for grassfed beef. They will answer questions concerning purchasing beef "on the hoof" vs. retail, labels and brands, dry aging and other topics of concern. Or meet with The Tomato Girl or Charybda Farms and Chef Edition specially designed programs to work with restaurants.

If you are a grower, we'll have chefs from our Farm to Restaurant Project who will be interested in what you can grow for them.

If you want to farm, there will be some folks who have land that are looking for someone to start producing food on it.

If you have land, there will be aspiring farmers needing some soil to cultivate.

If you are attending, you will want to visit with Beneficial Farms CSA, see Dreaming New Mexico's Foodshed Map or enjoy some samples from the "girls" at South Mountain Dairy.

For everyone:
Lunch & refreshments from La Montanita Co-op.

Keynote Speaker Cecilia Ciepiela, an economic development specialist, addressing the "Value-Chain Approach," the model for the Farm to Restaurant Project.

Curbside Consulting offering attendees private 20-minute sessions with seasoned consultants in business development, marketing, finance and land, in order to walk away with advice and solutions to improve your business.

Please register whether you are attending, displaying or volunteering. We need a count for food and space.
